As a high school student, I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by all the new things that come with school, especially when you're unfamiliar with how everything works. For first-time parents and new immigrant families, understanding the school system can feel even more complicated. So, I decided to create an informational website to help make the process a little easier. This site is designed to be the first step for parents to get a clearer picture of the school system, helping them ask more meaningful questions when they meet with counselors or teachers.

As a student from one of the prestigious ISD's in Texas, this site reflects my personal experiences and insights. However, the design and structure of the content are applicable to all schools in Texas and even beyond. The information provided on this site is intended to help you better understand various topics and processes.
My hope is that it will empower you to engage in more informed and meaningful conversations with school administration, fostering better communication and understanding.
